Ancient Constellations Making Workshop
A classic we just had to bring back again! What did the skies look like for ancient people? Learn about stars, space, and the constellations by viewing the skies of Ancient Egypt, Africa, Greece, and Rome in an inflatable planetarium, a collaboration between the Museum and Stars on the Move. View objects from Museum collection inspired by the stars, like an ancient astrological calendar, and create your own constellation art!
Free with Penncard. Dinner and materials provided.
Making Workshops are Museum-sponsored events that encourage Penn undergraduate and graduate students to become more familiar with the Museum’s collection by getting their hands involved. These events provide a fun and educational setting to promote social interaction and engage students with artifacts and ethnographic objects. Create something related to the objects or theme of the night!
