The Explore. Reflect. Become Lunch Series focuses on the deep reflection of our personal experiences and the becoming of ourselves. We will invite individuals from Penn and the Philadelphia community to share their intimate histories and backgrounds and how they've explored, reflected, and become the person that they are.
About the Speaker:
Christopher (Chris) Klaniecki is the Global initiatives Program Manager at Penn Global, leading Penn Global’s Grant Program as well as other key faculty engagement initiatives. He additionally serves other Penn-wide teams and initiatives in voluntary capacity, including as a facilitator for ISSS’ iCommunicate program as well as for Restorative Practices @ Penn, and currently co-leads Penn Global’s Green Team. Prior to joining the Penn Global team in January 2020, Chris served as an ESL educator both in China (Baoshan, Yunnan and Shenzhen, Guangdong) as well as in the U.S. He has also worked in a professional IT capacity, including at Penn and at Swarthmore College. Chris graduated from Swarthmore College with dual B.A.’s in Chinese and Theater Studies, and is currently pursuing an M.S.Ed. in Language, Globalization, and Intercultural Studies at Penn’s Graduate School of Education.
