The Explore. Reflect. Become Lunch Series focuses on the deep reflection of our personal experiences and the becoming of ourselves. We will invite individuals from Penn and the Philadelphia community to share their intimate histories and backgrounds and how they've explored, reflected, and become the person that they are.
About the Speaker:
Kampton is a student-athlete specializing in high jump. Originally from Singapore, he grew up setting national records across age groups including U18, U19, U20, U23, and men's indoor, and in most recently cleared 2.25 m (a new Singapore men’s outdoor record that stood for 30 years). After finishing high school in Singapore, he served two years in the Republic of Singapore Airforce. In 2022 began his studies at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is dual concentrating in Finance and Operations Informations and Decisions. Outside of athletics and academics, when he has the chance to, he enjoys exploring Philly, trying new cafes and restaurants, and cooking with his roommates.
