Cross-EthnoRacial Solidarity In Action: Isang Bagsak as Framework

This presentation uses liberatory education, intersectionality, and sociology theories to conceptualize and translate the Filipino concept of Isang Bagsak into a cross-ethnoracial solidarity framework. Isang Bagsak was a rallying cry from the anti-martial law movement, but has been translated into many different movement spaces in the US since the 1990s. Tony will apply this framework to leadership both in and outside of higher education, and how this framework is relevant in a global society in desperate need of bridge-building with a decolonial lens.

Book Signing and Reception to follow. Limited books available for FREE to Penn Students on first-come, first-served basis.
